Meetings

Monthly technical meetings are held at Wireless Hill Park, Ardross. Technical talks, build nights and group discussions make up the majority of meetings, and formal business is kept to a minimum. The committee also meets monthly to discuss formal business and to organise the activities of the club.

Date	The fourth Monday of every month, excluding December.
Time	8:00 PM
Location	The meeting room adjacent the Wireless Hill Museum, Wireless Hill Ardross.

Traditionally special events in the following months have taken place on meeting nights:

May	Swap-Meet (the name we use to advertise to buyers), or Junk Sale (the term reserved for advertising to sellers).
September	The Annual General Meeting, where somewhat like an auction anyone with an inopportune involuntary twitch is elected to committee.
December	No meeting.

Visitors and new members are welcome at meetings.

Coffee, tea and biscuits are available at meetings for a small-change contribution to the catering fund.

The West Australian V.H.F. Group (Incorporated) is based in Perth, and is the single largest license holder and operator of terrestrial VHF, UHF and SHF beacons in Australia.

The group has operated continually since 1955 and recently held its 587th General Meeting.
